Kurortny Prospekt

Kurortny Avenue runs right through the historical part of the city and is the most popular pedestrian street among tourists. There are many old houses here, each of which is unique and unlike the others. Almost immediately, attention is drawn to the Post Office building in the Neo-Gothic style, which has hardly changed since the day it was built. Nearby, a city clock is mounted on a wrought-iron pillar, which has long been the main character of many urban legends, often mystical. There is also a monument on Kurortny Prospekt that is very symbolic for this place — the "Resort Girl". The sculpture represents a girl taking another selfie and carrying a suitcase with a Zelenograd cat perched on it.
